The more detail you give us, the more precise our recommendation. Machine model, table centre distance and a drawing of the workpiece are the essentials.

What speeds up a quote

  • Machine model — we can then match the work stand interface directly.
  • Table centre distance — determines the correct bridge length L.
  • Workpiece drawing — tells us jaw size, capacity and hold-down method.
  • Monthly volume — decides whether a standard model or a modification is right.
  • Material of the workpiece — affects the required gripping strategy.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What information do you need for a quotation?

Ideally: the EDM machine model, the table centre distance in millimetres, the workpiece material, maximum workpiece dimensions and thickness, and the monthly production volume. A drawing or photograph of the part is extremely helpful. With that we can recommend a model from the standard range and price it accurately.

How long does a quotation take?

Standard models from the catalog are quoted within one working day. A custom fixture or modification may need an engineering review first, typically two to three working days.

Can I order a single fixture, or must I buy a set?

Either. Individual vises, bridges and tooling are all available separately, and the combination kits are sold as sets because that is how they are most often used. If you are standardising a cell we can put together a kit priced as a package.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We supply manufacturers in global markets. Freight and any import duty are quoted separately so the product price stays transparent, and we will recommend the most economical shipping method for your location.

Can you repair or modify a fixture I already own?

Yes — repair and modification is a core service. Send the model number, a photograph and a description of the fault or the change you need. We will advise what is possible and quote the work.

Which material should I choose — aluminium or stainless steel?

Aluminium is the right choice for general-purpose work where parts change often: it is light and quick to machine. Stainless and maraging steel (SUS440, HRC 50–55) are used for bridges, heavy clamping and any environment where the fixture faces heavy wear or a corrosive dielectric. Tell us about the workpiece and the duty cycle and we will advise.

What tolerance can I expect?

Flatness, parallelism and squareness are held to 0.005 mm per 100 mm on ground surfaces, with maraging steel bridges hardened to HRC 50–55. Every custom assembly ships with a tolerance report so the figures can be verified on your floor.

Do you supply the machine, or only the fixturing?

Only the fixturing. We supply vises, bridges, tooling, press plates, work platforms and clamp brackets — the fixture side of the machine. We will work with the machine manufacturer or your own maintenance team on any machine-specific interface.
